General Information

Tours are 75-90 minutes in length.

Admission is free for BHS members. $10.00 for non-members

Difficulty Ratings

Easy – Relatively flat and 2 km of walking

Moderate – Some hills and 3 km of walking

Difficult – Many hills and more than 3 km of walking

Victoria Park Heritage Square Walk [Difficulty: Easy] (approx. 90 minutes)

The square provides insight into some of the significant figures in the life of Brantford.



North Downtown Brantford Walk [Difficulty: Easy] (approx. 90 minutes)

Nelson, Chatham and Sheridan streets offer insight into the history and development of the city’s downtown.


Murder, Mystery, and Mayhem Walk [Difficulty: Easy] (approx. 90 minutes)
Thursday, October 24; 7:00 PM & Friday, October 25; 7:00PM Starting at the Brant Museum and Archives
A walking tour that explores some spooky stories of Brantford’s past.

Alexander Graham Bell Walk [Difficulty: Moderate] (approx. 105 minutes)
Saturday, November 2; 10:30 AM starting at the Brant Museum and Archives
This walk will help you understand Bell’s life in Brantford and why the city has honoured him in multiple ways.



Monuments and Memorials Walk [Level of Difficulty: Easy] (approx. 75 minutes)
Saturday, November 9; 10:30 AM starting at Jubilee Terrace (beside the Armouries)
Hear the seldom told stories of the monuments and memorials in the downtown area



Artist Lawren Harris Walk [Level of Difficulty: Easy] (approx. 75 minutes)
Saturday, November 16; 10:30 AM starting at the Margaret Chandler Heritage House (166 St. Paul Ave)
Learn about the early life in Brantford of this famous Group of Seven artist (1885-1918).
