The Brant Historical Society offers a wide array of programming for all ages at both of our locations: the Brant Museum & Archives and Myrtleville House Museum.
Adult Outreach
The Adult Outreach Program delivers the treasures of the Brant Museum & Archives to your group! Each visit we bring artifacts, copies of photographs and documents, and lots of stories and local history to locations in Brantford, Brant County, Six Nations, and New Credit, taking the museum experience to audiences in the comfort of their own communities.
School Programs
The Myrtleville House Museum is a proud community partner that provides curriculum based education programs to our local schools. We offer a variety of dynamic programming for elementary levels that can be hosted at our museum or in your own classroom. Our hands on, interactive lessons target various learning styles and allows your class to explore the history of their community.
Speakers Series
Every year, the Brant Historical Society hosts a monthly Speakers Series from September – May, showcasing presentations on aspects local and/or national history. Typically hosted at the Brant Museum and Archives, presentations are held on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 7:00pm.
