Earliest History at the Fording Place Walk Join us for our first Walking Tour of the season! Begins at Brant’s Ford Park at 10:30am. $5.00 for non-members, Free for members.
Heritage Excursion” to four locations around Brantford to expand one’s knowledge & experience. The excursion is Monday, May 2, 2016 and includes: the City Hall records, Margaret Chandler Heritage House, Myrtleville House Museum, and St. Jude’s Church (bring a camera). The day begins at 9:00 AM with coffee at the Brant Museum & Archives (57 Charlotte Street) and includes lunch and two (coffee) breaks, as well as the bus. There are also a few surprises planned. Fee is per adult (16 years+) $45 BHS Member/$55 Non-Member. The day concludes at 4:00 PM.
Loyalist Settlement near the Ford Walk (Modified of the previous Ford Place Walk) Starting at the Mohawk Chapel at 10:30am. $5.00 for non-members, Free for members.
“Franklin Expedition & the 2014 Discovery of HMS Erebus” on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at 7:00 PM at the WLU-Brantford Research & Academic Centre (Dalhousie at Charlotte Street), Room RCW-202. Scott Youngblut of the Canadian Hydrographic Service will describe his role in this important discovery. Admission is free.
