To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Vimy Ridge, the Brant Historical Society presents Vincent Ball’s play: Veteran of Vimy. This is the second play of a trilogy that began with Doing Our Bit (copies of Doing Our Bit are available in the gift shop at the Brant Museum and Archives).
There will be two performances of the play at the Sergeant William Merrifield VC Armoury: a matinee that begins at 2:00 pm and an evening performance at 7:30 pm. There will also be a gala dinner beginning at 5:00 pm which will feature a tribute to Six Nations veterans by actors, singers and dancers along with cuisine based on a three sisters menu – corn, squash and beans – by Six Nations chef Brian Skye, topped off with a guided tour of the armoury.
